CIIDRET has large ongoing programs relating to development of novel diagnostics and/or therapeutics for COVID, Tuberculosis, and Chikungunya. 

CIIDRET has also developed a novel technology based on recombinant antibodies that is national resource for isolation of molecules for Diagnostic and Therapeutic Applications.

Establishment of a state-of-the-art facility with platform technologies that can be extended as services to academia and industry.

CIIDRET offers custom services that currently include DNA sequencing, Microarray technology, Next-generation sequencing (NGS), SPR, and production of recombinant proteins and antibodies.  The proposers of CIIDRET have been providing services related to DNA sequencing for the last 17 years to academic users throughout the country (DBT-Supported DNA Sequencing Facility).  The same has been initiated for Microarrays and NGS and SPR.  These activities will provide a platform for interaction with other researchers in academia and industry, and generate funds for sustenance of the center.
